HEX (Dance & Live Music)

Choreographer & Performer: Giuliana Corsi

Music: Merma Suelo

Giuliana is a Brazilian choreographer and dancer based in Berlin since 2015. Her work dives into

gestural movement and its relations to dancers identities, intertwined with contemporary dance

techniques.

Merma Suelo is a polyfaceted poet and sound artist. They move between layers and dimensions

to listen and transform living relational dynamics.

HEX is a Dance and Sound performance, which connects hereditary and affective gestural

movement in relationship to contemporary dance and witchcraft, as rituals of identity and

communication. HEX is an incantation on memory and migration, based in the intersections

between habitual gestures, old photographs, recipe books and lines of communication with the

deceased, and counts with live soundtrack from Merma Suelo’s album Siento. Special thanks to

Roosa Nirhamo, on dramaturgical support.

Berenice Llorens

Electric Guitar Set + Pedals (Live Music)

Berenice Llorens is a composer, improviser, and sound artist from Córdoba, Argentina, based in

Berlin. In her performance “retroalimentación de campos”, she explores sound as a mutable
